This two-level garden is located on the ground floor of an apartment building. Previous use of the space was cramped, and the clients asked for functional, generous space.
The interior character of the house was to be extended onto the garden that offered a nice view which ensured a sense of progression between the flora of the grove and the planting.
A variety of plants placed in large pots were positioned around the sitting area to optimize the use of space and form a green backdrop for a more natural atmosphere.
The lower terrace is covered with a lawn that feature diverse planting. The stifling hedges which previously defined the boundaries of the space were replaced with custom-designed galvanized iron fences to gain ample space, separating the edge of the garden with the receding level.
Various shades of evergreen plants are positioned organically, imbuing the garden with a seemingly unstudied look.
