Located on the Aegean coast of southern Turkey, this garden is part of a modern beach house.The residents requested direct access to the garden without passing through the interior. In response, a travertine staircase was designed to complement the house’s architectural style.[Before]
In contrast to the building’s formal character, an informal planting style was preferred. This approach softens the architecture and ensures seamless integration within the Aegean context.
A previously unused area was transformed into an alternative seating space, connected by a stone staircase, both constructed with locally sourced natural stone. Existing trees in this area were preserved and complemented with additional planting.
