Located on the Aegean coast of southern Turkey, this garden is part of a modern beach house.The residents requested direct access to the garden without passing through the interior. In response, a travertine staircase was designed to complement the house’s architectural style.
In contrast to the building’s formal character, an informal planting style was preferred. This approach softens the architecture and ensures seamless integration within the Aegean context.
A previously unused area was transformed into an alternative seating space, connected by a stone staircase, both constructed with locally sourced natural stone. Existing trees in this area were preserved and complemented with additional planting.
