Textile company ShirtByShirt (SBS) asked for a space for short breaks, set from a distance from the building which is aesthetically pleasing. The accustomed small, triangular area had design challenges, but paved the way for an originally shaped pergola.

The iron columns  supporting the roof are aesthetic elements that reflect the thin stems of the trees framing the sitting area. The triangular bench divides the space horizontally and brings a touch of warmth and comfort with the use of wood. The space is intentionally left empty so that it allows interaction during recess.

Concrete is used in the design to reflect the minimalist interior of the SBS building, mitigated by soft landscaping and especially so by climbing plants on the walls.
